Multi-Display Ceremony
Multi-Display Ceremonies are when one or more ceremonies have multiple different layout options included in their software package. For customers that use more than one display format, the Director has an option to get the user to these different display types. The Director can contain up to three display formats; Lower Third, Full Screen, and Dual Display.
Switching Between Single and Dual Line Display Ceremonies
If you are using both single line and dual line display options, you will be prompted to choose between Single Queue or Dual Queue when you select Begin Ceremony Display from the main menu.
To change to a different display option, you will need to exit display mode and return to the home screen by selecting Home from the tool bar. Then, click Begin Ceremony Display again to get back to the option to choose between Single Queue or Dual Queue.
If you select Single Queue, you will enter directly into display mode.
If you select Dual Queue, you will be prompted to make selections.
Dual Queue Options
- Auto Advance: It is Tassel's recommendation that you turn Auto Advance ON.
- Slide start delay (in seconds): This gives you the option to add a delay after scanning before the name is announced and appears on the banner. Tassel recommends keeping this setting at 0, unless you are an advanced user. For more information on this feature, read our Slide Start/Announcement Delay training article.
- Auto Advance Type: Decide how names will automatically advance upon scanning.
Once you enter the dual display mode with you desired settings, the ceremony will run as usual.
Toggling Between Lower-Third and Full Screen Display
Enter into ceremony mode by selecting Begin Ceremony Display from the main menu.
If you have both single line and full screen displays, you have have the option to toggle between them, without interruption. Both of these displays fall under the Single Queue display option.
