Running a Multi-Display Ceremony

Overview
Multi-Display Ceremonies are when one or more ceremonies have multiple different layout options included in their software package. For customers that use more than one display format, the Director has an option to get the user to these different display types. The Director can contain up to three display formats; Lower Third, Full Screen, and Dual Display.

Selecting Between Single and Dual Display

If you are using multiple displays and one of those displays is Dual, you will be prompted to select between Single Queue or Dual Queue when you select Begin Ceremony Display from the main menu.

If you select Dual Queue, you will be prompted to choose to turn Auto Advance On or Off. It is Tassel's recommendation that you turn Auto Advance ON. 

When Auto Advance is selected you can decide how the names will automatically advance:
  1. Alternate Queues - Will alternate names between stage left and stage right.
  2. Order Scanned - Will play the names in the order they were scanned regardless of the stage side.
  3. Dual Scroll - Will play both names at the same time.


Selecting Between Single Displays: Lower-Third and Full Screen 

To select between Lower Third or Full Screen display
  1. Select Begin Ceremony Display from the main menu.
  2. Choose Single Queue, if prompted.
The user can toggle between the Lower Third and the Full Screen during the ceremony, without interruption or having to exit the Ceremony Display mode.



Selecting Between Single Lower Third, Full Screen Display, and Dual Display

After choosing your desired Single Queue or Dual Queue, there will not be an option to toggle between full screen and lower third with dual display. To change back to one of the Single Display options, select the HOME option from the toolbar at the top to return to the Director home screen.

Click Begin Ceremony Display again to get back to the options of selecting between Single Queue or Dual Queue.



Running a Multi-Display Ceremony in MarchingOrder Director 1.0

If you are using multiple displays and one of those displays is dual, you will be prompted to select between Dual Queue -2 Procession Lines and Single Queue –1 Procession Line when entering display mode.



To enter Single Display or Slideshow Mode

  1. Double click MarchingOrder Director.exe.
  2. Click Begin Ceremony Display from the software home screen. Choose Single Queue –1 Procession Line.

To enter Dual Display Mode

  1. Double click MarchingOrder Director.exe.
  2. Click Begin Ceremony Display from the software home screen. Choose Dual Queue –2 Procession Lines.

After choosing your desired Dual or Single display type, there will not be an option to toggle between full screen and lower third with dual display. To change back to single or slideshow display, return to the MarchingOrder Director home screen and click Begin Ceremony Display and choose Single Queue –1 Procession Line.
