Running a Single-Line Display Ceremony
Single-Line Ceremony Setups
When running a single display ceremony, there are two options:
- A single-line where one graduate is displayed on one screen at a time, utilizing one ceremony display computer and scanner, and the graduates cross the stage from one side only.
- Two-lines where one graduate is displayed on the screen at a time, however there are two independent ceremony display computers that the A/V team will need to switch between as graduates cross the stage from both sides, one at a time.

Running Single-Line Software
Enter Display Mode
To run the software, double-click on TasselDirector.moddb with the black "T" icon.
To enter display mode, click Begin Ceremony Display from the software home screen.
Advancing the Name Queue
When a QR Code is scanned, the corresponding graduate name will appear in the Display Queue on the left side of the primary display. Your software will be preconfigured to display grads on Auto Advance or Manual Advance:
- Auto Advance: the names automatically advance as QR Codes are scanned.
- Manual Advance: the <down arrow> key advances to the next name; the <up arrow> key moves to the previous name.
Notes on Timing
The goal is to have the correct name displayed while a graduate is on screen and their name is announced. To achieve this, advance to the next name as one graduate leaves the video shot and the next graduate enters the frame. If using a live reader, it may be helpful if the reader can be seen in the video shot.
