Overview
We've made some updates to Director to help your ceremony run more smoothly. Please be sure to delete any previous versions of Tassel Director before downloading the latest version, which is available starting April 1, 2026.

This release includes a mix of bug fixes, UI improvements, and feature enhancements focused on improving ceremony flow, logging clarity, and timing accuracy within the platform.
Director App Updates
Pacing & Timing Improvements
  1. Preview Screen Pacing Timer Added: A pacing timer is now available on the preview screen to help monitor ceremony progress. 
  2. Estimated Completion Time: The pacing timer now provides an estimated completion time for graduate crossings. 
Testing Ceremony Improvements
  1. Improved testing ceremony logic and fixed participant loading issues, along with shortened participant name audio playback for a more efficient testing experience. 
Logging & Visibility Improvements
  1. New “Display Setting” Column: Added a “Display Setting” column to both Display Logs and Scan Logs for improved tracking and visibility. 
  2. Terminology Updates:
    1. “Procession Log” renamed to “Scan Log” 
    2. “Showed Slides Log” renamed to “Display Log” 
User Experience Improvements
  1. Added a tooltip for the Slide Start Delay field to provide better guidance.
  2. Auto Advance Setting Adjustment: Removed the auto advance slide interval option when Manual mode is selected to prevent confusion.
