We know the most meaningful introductions come from people who have experienced our solutions first hand. That’s why we created our referral program: a straightforward way to allow our customers to earn rewards while helping us connect with more institutions.

What is the Tassel Referral Program?
The referral program rewards customers who introduce Tassel to new colleges, universities, and high schools. If your introduction leads to a scheduled sales meeting with a decision maker, you’ll receive a $50 gift card (or equivalent, per your school’s guidelines), regardless of whether or not the meeting leads to a sale.
What are the minimum qualifications for the referral program?
- A warm introduction to our team must be made with the contact.
- The contact must be a decision maker at the college/school.
- The introduction must lead to a completed sales meeting.
Who qualifies as a “decision maker”?
We’re looking to connect with individuals who influence budget allocation, and oversee commencement and student experience decisions. If you’re not sure whether your contact qualifies, feel free to reach out and we’ll confirm before you make the introduction.
How do I make a referral?
It’s simple: Send a warm introduction email connecting your contact to our team using the sales@tassel.com email address. We’ll handle the rest and work to schedule a meeting.
What is an example email I can send?
Here’s a quick email that would qualify as a warm introduction:

Hi [first name],
Wanted to introduce you to Tassel. They’ve really helped us make graduation smoother — fewer questions from students, less work for our team, and better turnout overall.
They handle student registration, name announcements, tickets, and more. Any interest?

When will I receive my reward?
You’ll receive a $50 gift card (or equivalent) after the introduction and scheduled meeting takes place. This applies whether or not the meeting leads to a sale.
Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?
Nope! Rewards are issued per meeting, so each qualified introduction you make is another $50 opportunity. Want to set up a meeting with multiple other departments at your institution, or high schools in your district? You can be rewarded for each school referred.
What if my institution restricts gifts?
We respect institutional guidelines. If gift cards are not permissible at your institution, we’ll work with you to provide an equivalent alternative reward that complies with your policies.
Do I still get rewarded if a meeting is scheduled but the contact doesn’t attend?
Rewards are only issued if a meeting takes place.
