Why are you changing MarchingOrder’s name?
When MarchingOrder first began, the company’s name described our key function at that time – getting graduates across the stage. But as our platform continues to expand, we believe we need a name that encompasses all our features and functionality, while celebrating the accomplishment of graduation.
Why did you choose Tassel as the new name?
The tassel’s symbolic move from one side of the cap to the other represents the universal moment of graduation. It’s about completion, achievement, and the start of something new. That’s what Tassel embodies: moving forward, innovating, and bringing graduations into the modern age.
Does the name change to Tassel change anything about my current services?
Tassel will have the same services that you are familiar with, and we look forward to building even more functionality into the platform.
Do we need to get a new contract with Tassel?
No. If you have an active contract, it is still valid. Our company name is officially Development Cubed, Inc. and that is reflected in your contract. We have only changed our DBA (Doing Business As) from MarchingOrder to Tassel.
Are your email addresses changing? Who do I email if I need assistance?
Yes, all our email addresses have changed to reflect the new company name. We will still receive any emails you accidentally send to @marchingorder.com email addresses, but we encourage you to update your Contacts ASAP. Here are a few important ones to take note of:
- cs@tassel.com - this is replacing cr@marchingorder.com as your general address to email if you need assistance
- sales@tassel.com - if you have any needs from our Sales team
- support@tassel.com - to reach our graduate support staff
- firstname@tassel.com - with a few exceptions, individuals at Tassel will follow this format for their email addresses
Will our graduate website URL change?
Yes, your graduate website URL will change. Your CSM will provide you with this new URL. In case a student comes across the old URL, it will redirect to your new one.
Will our admin website URL change?
Yes. In order to log in to your Tassel Hub (the new admin website), please visit hub.tassel.com.
Will I still have access to my past ceremony data on the Hub?
Our data processes remain unchanged. You still have access to past ceremony data within a two year time period.
With these domain changes, is any action needed to ensure emails sent via the Communications module are delivered to my graduates?
No, this does not impact the domain verification process.
