Scanned Tickets Module Overview

Overview of the Scanning Tickets Section

In the Scanning Tickets section, you can:
  1. View Ceremonies and Ticket Information: See a list of all your ceremonies with event codes, ticket counts, and scanning statistics.
  2. Scan Tickets: Use the Scan Now button to start scanning tickets in real time.
  3. View Scan Details: Access detailed information about each scanned ticket.
  4. Clear Scans: Remove all scans for a specific ceremony.




Navigating the Scanned Tickets Section

Accessing the Scanned Tickets Section

  1. Log In to your Hub at app.tassel.com.
  2. Navigate to the Scanning Tickets module from the menu on the left.

Understanding the Scanned Tickets Dashboard

On the Scanned Tickets dashboard, you will find:
  1. Ceremonies List: A table showing all of your ceremonies.
  2. Ticketing Event Code: Unique identifier for each ceremony.
  3. Total Allotted Number of Tickets: The total tickets available for each ceremony.
  4. Tickets Scanned In: The number of tickets that have been scanned by all devices at your venue.
  5. Percentage of Tickets Scanned: Real-time percentage of tickets scanned out of the total allotted.

Scanning Tickets on the Computer

Starting the Ticket Scanning Process

  1. Select a Ceremony: Choose the ceremony for which you want to scan tickets.
  2. Click the Scan Now Button: This will open the scanning interface.



Scanning Tickets

  1. Open the Scanning Interface: After clicking Scan Now, you will be directed to the scanning interface.
  2. Scan the Ticket: Use your device's camera or a barcode scanner to scan the ticket’s QR code or barcode.
  3. Confirmation: The ticket will be processed, and you will see a confirmation message or notification.



Viewing Scan Details

Accessing Scan Details

  1. Click the View Scans button: This button is available after tickets have been scanned.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to Review Scan Information: View detailed information about each scanned ticket.

Understanding Scan Details

In the View Scans page, you will see:
  1. Scan Time: The exact time the ticket was scanned.
  2. Ticket Code: The unique code for the scanned ticket.
  3. Scan Type: Indicates whether the ticket was physical scanned or manually scanned.
  4. Device ID: The ID of the device used for scanning.
  5. Ceremony: The name of the ceremony.
  6. Graduate Information: First Name, Last Name, and Email of the graduate.


Exporting Scan Details

  1. Click on Export Scans: To download a CSV file of the scanned ticket data.
  2. Save the File: Save the exported data to your computer for your records.

Clearing Scans

Clearing Scanned Tickets

  1. Select a Ceremony: Choose the ceremony from which you want to clear scans.
  2. Click the Clear Scans button: This will remove all scanned tickets for that ceremony.

Confirming Scan Clearance

A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure you want to clear all scans. Confirm the action to proceed.

Understanding Scan Clearance

Note: Clearing scans will delete all scan records for the selected ceremony. This action cannot be undone.
