Running a Graduate Slideshow in Director

For Full Screen Slides ONLY

This option is used when you are using the Director to manage the slideshow.  If you need to generate an mp4 video slideshow, please follow the Generate a Slideshow Video instructions.

Settings

To customize your slideshow, select Begin Ceremony Display and click Settings from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Under Slideshow Options, you can adjust how long each slide is displayed to the audience, the order in which the slides are shown (alphabetical or randomized), as well as the slideshow population.

When you are finished adjusting your settings, click Save.


Begin Slideshow

While still in Begin Ceremony Display mode:
  1. On the top toolbar select the Slideshow dropdown.
  2. Click Start Slideshow in the drop down menu.
  3. Select the Ceremony, Group, and Check-in participants you wish to include in the slideshow.
  4. Click Select.
The queue will fill with your selected participants and slideshow will immediately begin. 

NOTE: If your ceremony is using both a lower third and full screen graphic, you will need to toggle from Lower Third to Full Screen.


Using Check-In Status for Slideshow

In order to use check-in status for slideshows, you need to have synced your check-in laptop database with the ceremony laptop. Then, you can set up your slideshow based on check-in status.

This feature can be used to generate a slideshow only featuring graduates who have checked-in or for only those not in attendance at the event. This is a fantastic way to make sure all graduates are recognized, regardless of their attendance status.

To begin a slideshow based on check-in status, follow the instructions above.
