Guidelines for All Ceremonies: Troubleshooting Checklist
If you are having issues Identifying the issue you're running into, review the following:
- Make sure your ceremony display laptops are set up and tested according to the Ceremony Rehearsal Checklist.
- Make sure your laptops are set to allow applications downloaded from the internet. (Some security settings will prevent the Director from successfully launching or outputting audio-visual signals to your media switcher.)
- Disable any additional security and/or display controlling software that may interfere with the performance of the software on the laptop.
- Do all of this before the ceremony, so you know your laptop and your backup laptop are tested and ready to go.
