How long does it take to get set up?
Initial setup will take less than one work week, with most schools getting configured in just 2-4 days.
How do I add graduation announcements to my next ceremony?
Email your Customer Success Manager and they will provide you with next steps.
Are any fields required in order to use this feature?
Schools must use the RSVP question for their graduates in order to use this feature. Only graduates who have responded to the RSVP question, whether they say yes or no, will be able to create an announcement page. Additionally, to ensure a smooth and successful implementation of the Graduate Announcements feature, Tassel needs the following information for students:
- Email
- First Name
- Last Name
- Degree 1
- Major 1
Are there any data upload timelines that we should be aware of?
All graduate information must be uploaded to the Hub at least two weeks before the data deadline date. The system uses this data to generate the Graduate Announcements. Any information changed or added after this cutoff date may not appear correctly.
How should I promote Graduation Announcements to our students?
An email from Tassel will be sent to your graduates with a link for them to create their announcement. We recommend that you send an additional email to your grads through the Tassel Hub promoting Graduation Announcements and explaining that they will need to RSVP in order to use the product.
When can a student create their page?
A student must have RSVP'd either Yes/No to their ceremony in order to create a page.
What will the students’ pages look like?
Your graduate pages will be branded with your institution’s logo and colors, and each graduate will be able to add their own photo and text. The page will also feature messages from their community.

Can I review the student pages before they go live?
No, currently pages cannot be previewed by schools before launch. They are generated automatically from student submissions. However, you can request any necessary edits from our support team after the pages are live.
How can I track how much money students have received?
If you're interested to viewing your graduates' stats, please email your Customer Support Manager. They can provide an email summary with key stats:
- Total graduate participation
- Total funds raised
- Top individual fundraisers
How long will a graduate's announcement page remain active?
Currently, there is no expiration date for announcement pages. We plan to add a 6-month limit in the future, which will include an option for graduates to download their page as a PDF. Please note that this feature has not been implemented yet.
How long does it take for a graduate to receive their gift payout?
Payouts usually occur instantaneously if no issues are present. If there is a processing issue, it can take up to 3-5 business days to resolve and complete the payout.
