Download Director 2.0

You will receive an email from your Customer Success Manager with your unique  Director Software database download link. The Director Software database will also be available as a task on your Dashboard in the Hub.
Downloading the software is a two-part process. First you will download the software and second you will download the database for your ceremony that customizes your software.

Instructions

Step 1. Download the Director Install Application

The new Director software can be run from any folder on your computer (please keep in mind that this does not include shared drives, cloud drives, or external hard drives). Instead of sending new versions of the software each ceremony, you will be required to install the initial setup software one time, then we will send you a new database for your upcoming ceremony(s) that customizes your software. 

Important: Tassel will send notifications about updates to install when available.
  1. Install Director Software: https://app.box.com/s/1ijx49couta3qhdgl3jtdrdxdqc6clf0 
  2. Unzip the package.
  3. Open the unzipped folder to install the Director Setup App.


After installation, you should see the application listed in the Windows Start menu and as an icon on your desktop. Do not access this icon to run the application. Your final MarchingOrder Director database will still be sent for you to download prior to your first ceremony. 

The initial install is now complete and the software will automatically close. You will not access the setup again.

Step 2. Download Ceremony Database
MarchingOrder will send you an email notification with a link to download your new Director Database. The download link will also be accessible from a task on your dashboard. If you had not previously downloaded the new Director initial setup software (see step 1), you will still be given a link to do so before you download your new database. This will make sharing the two parts with other team members and your A/V team easier.
  1. Click the link to your software, either from the email notification or dashboard task.
  2. The file will open in Box. You do not need to have an account with Box or log in to get access to your software.
  3. Locate the .zip file in the box folder.
  4. Click on the three dots (More Options) to the right of the file name.
  5. Select Download.
  6. The zipped Director Database file will be saved to your Downloads folder.
  7. Unzip the folder and place on your desktop for ease of access.
    1. Reminder: you do not need to move the unzipped folder to your desktop, but you can not run the software from shared drives, cloud drives, or external hard drives.



This folder contains a System folder and the new MarchingOrderDirector.moddb, with a blue icon. Open this file.


Program your QR Scanners for Serial Mode

To ensure your scanner works with Director, it must be calibrated for serial mode.

Once you enter the Ceremony Display in the Director software, the number of connected QR scanners will display in the upper right corner of the monitor. If this doesn't match the number of scanners you are using, follow the instructions to calibrate the scanner for serial mode. 




Download MarchingOrder Director 1.0



Overview
You will receive an email from your Customer Success Manager with your unique MarchingOrder Director software download link. The MarchingOrder Director Software will also be available as a task on your Dashboard in the MarchingOrder Assistant.

Instructions
Follow the instructions below to download your custom MarchingOrder Director software.
  1. From your Dashboard, click the link to your software.
  2. The file will open in Box. You do not need to have an account with Box or log in to get access to your software.
  3. Locate the .zip file in the box folder.
  4. Click on the three dots (More Options) to the right of the file name.
  5. Select Download.
  6. The zipped MarchingOrder Director Software file will be saved to your Downloads folder.
  7. Unzip the file, and place the unzipped files on the desktop.
    1. NOTE: Do not save the ceremony files to a shared drive such as SharePoint or Box. Save directly to the desktop.
    2. NOTE: Do not change the name of the folder or application.
    3. NOTE: Do not run the software from an external hard drive.
  8. Launch the MarchingOrder Director software from the desktop folder.
