While the Director Software is running, scanning the default screen card will “blank” the display so that graduate information is not shown on screen. 

This can be useful in between groups of graduates, so that the last graduate’s name is not shown on screen during spaces of time between the processions. 

We recommend taping a default screen card next to the card scanner during your ceremony, so it is easily accessible for the scanner personnel.

Default Screen cards do not need to be discarded after a ceremony; they should be re-used instead. Please contact your CSM if you need additional default screen cards printed.
